Parent Teacher Fellowship

Mission Statement

We are here to honor our Lord Jesus Christ through serving our children by bringing Parents, Teachers, Staff, and Board Members together.  It is the desire of this fellowship to serve the needs of the school that are beyond the regular financial provisions in place.  We seek to be a body that supports, edifies and equips children of our future.  Through this PTF we will assist the school in building a Christian and academic foundation that allows our children to excel in their endeavors in life.

And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father (Colossians 3:17 NLT).

Leadership

Lead Member/PTF Coordinator - Alonzo & Rebecca Baldonado

This position is to be filled by a person who has prayerfully considered and feels led by the Holy Spirit to act in a leadership role for the function of this body.  Approval and direction shall be given by the School Administration.  The Lead Member will preside over all PTF meetings and is the official representative of the PTF at all functions.  The Lead Member is also the contact point for the School Administration.

Secretary/Treasurer - Jamin Hutchens

This position is appointed by the Lead Member and School Administration.  It is mandatory that this individual be available for all meetings.  Minutes of each meeting will be noted and approved at each subsequent meeting.  Detailed records will be necessary of all business conducted at each meeting.  In addition, this individual will be responsible and accountable for all monies that the PTF raises and spends on behalf of the School.  All funds in and out of PTF accounts will be approved by two members of the PTF Leadership.

Secondary Member - Adolph Lopez

This position is appointed by the Lead Member and School Administration.  At any point, if Lead Member cannot fulfill their duties, the Secondary Member will fill in.  This position will be in charge of committee and special events leadership

 

 

 

Committees

 Fundraising - Arlene Casillas

We will be conducting various fundraising events throughout the year to fortify our accounts that will enable us to benefit the school in many ways.  This individual will be called upon to discover and submit fundraising ideas.  They will also follow through on each individual fundraising event and report to the leadership as to its success.

 

Staff Encourager - Peggy Greer & Lollie Pritchett

Part of our monies and efforts will be dedicated to honor and bless our school staff.  We want to be able to show our appreciation throughout the school year by doing things that will brighten their day and encourage them to continue their ministry.  The creative person that fills this position will be called upon to come up with interesting and fun ideas that will bless the staff.
